João Kather (Brazil, 2004) is the chef and co-founder of Tetsu, a teppanyaki restaurant in Madrid. Trained at MOM Culinary Institute, he worked in top kitchens like El Celler de Can Roca and Boragó. In 2025, at just 20 years old, he opened Tetsu with Miguel de Aguilar, offering refined Japanese cuisine cooked at the counter. His technique, flavor, and maturity have earned acclaim, positioning him as one of Spain’s most promising young chef.
