Carlos Casillas Hernández

Carlos Casillas was born in Ávila in 1999 and trained at the Basque Culinary Centre, where he achieved the best academic record in his class. In 2024, he earned BARRO a Michelin star and a green star, becoming the youngest chef ever to do so. In 2025, he received the Best Young Chef Award from the Michelin Guide. At the age of 26, he has participated as a speaker at gastronomic conferences and has been awarded the Juli Soler Prize for Wine Talent (2021), among other distinctions.
